Google 'Year in search 2019'
(This article was written on September 10, 2023.)

In fact, it's 2023 and the most recent video, Year in search 2022, is the most recent,
I thought it was right to do the 2019 video, the video that people liked the most and commented on the most in this Year in search series. It also impressed me.

Before we analyze 2019, let's think about this year in search.
This series is one of the videos that Google has consistently made every year for 12 years from 2010 to this year, and it is one of the videos that Google, the world's public search platform, can make. There used to be a lot of other search platforms like Yahoo, but no one has ever tried to make a video of statistical data about their searches.

I think it's great in that sense. To be able to do this consistently for over 10 years. To be able to keep the top spot in the search industry.
So why does Google keep making this video? Why does it keep making it?
In the simplest terms, this is the kind of video that only they can do and the message that humanity sends to mankind to support humanity.
Giving hope to people all over the world and showing directly that so many different people are living this worthwhile life.
So why on earth was 2019 particularly impressive out of more than 10 Year in Search series videos?

Let's find out.
This is a typical compilation video. It's authentic because it uses UGC a lot.
That alone is very powerful visually.
I think what was important was how to present the message with what concept and story.

The search keyword for the year that I caught in the 2019 video was Heroes.
Of course, this wasn't the most searched word itself.
However, statistically speaking, it would be more accurate to say that there were a lot of keywords related to Heroes and that they were woven into Heroes.

The important thing is that the keyword Heroes may have been one of the keywords searched a lot in the actual 2019 data. In fact, 2019 was also the heyday of Heroes movies.

So what was the last message Google wanted to deliver to humanity.
“To everyone using their powers to empower others”

Think of it as having all the build-ups for this message.
So if you ask me, "Did you just like this message?" I'm half right and half wrong.

The right part is, "In fact, there is a saying that humans are social animals and feel the greatest happiness and achievement in helping others,
Some say that's one of the reasons humans exist.
I think this 2019 episode is easier to touch than any other video because it shows a lot of people helping others and they talk about them while calling them true heroes.
But you can't ask if this is all. So what's so special about this video?
First of all, the biggest thing was the natural story connection.

I started the video with the keyword 'Heroes.' I think the first thing I did was try to connect it naturally with that last sentence, 'To everyone using the air powders to empower others.'

So you've been looking at more search statistics. What are some natural connections between that keyword and the last message while building up.
SUPER's 'Throughout history, in times of uncertification, and the world looks for heroes' was a simple seasoning for bringing up the main keyword of Heroes.

Let's take a look at all the contents that came out after that.
In 2019, searches for heroes soared
What kind of super heroes are there. (That's one of the key sentences, and after throwing this phrase around, I'm able to naturally have all sorts of heroes (helping others).)
Real life super heroes : videos of various people saving others
People with superpowers: People who have overcome their disabilities and limitations
Unsung heroes : Heroes who deserve but are not in the spotlight
Unlikley heroes : unexpected heroes (that little one is also a hero enough to console someone)
SHeroes: Women who are successful in their respective fields
Mr. Supermom : Someone's mother
Superdad : Someone's dad
Superheroes that can fly
What do heroes look like
Not all heroes wear caps: not all heroes wear capes
In fact, I think it wouldn't have been that difficult to just place a number of UGCs with the right keywords up to this point.
It's because they laid out the board well with "What kind of super heroes are there."

It's changing from 1:11 here
What makes a person hero: asking questions about what makes a hero.
In reality, you must have been worried about what UGC or videos to show.
So, the speech video or the quote of a famous person was chosen,
“My family is making a grant to eliminate their student loans”
“We know deep down what’s right and what’s needed.”
These two were less impactful than I thought.

But he led the video by using the influencer's quote, saying that mindfulness is important
“I’m gonna fight this.”
“Who says I can’t? Nobody!”
1:25 seconds
“Here it comes. Never been done in competition”
This was the part you had to hit once.
(Because the original BGM is about pausing right before the climax)

So, bringing in the 2019 gymnastics competition of American gymnast Simone Biles, who used the perfect technique of extreme, perfectly synchronized Biles' landing and BGM, and then led the climax in a way that showed the athletes winning the competition and those who achieved the achievement.
"Can anyone be a hero"
“The category is love, y’all”

You've shown us how you felt about winning an award with the theme of love, and BTS who gave people hope with the theme of love
And the most important heart-wrenching speech that directly connects to the last message comes up
I brought 2 sentences from the 2019 Bernard University graduation speech by movie star Viola Davis.

“Use your heart, your courage and vision to fix, to heal, to heal, to empathize, to connect”
“Because living life for something bigger than yourself is a hero’s journey”
This sentence is so important and it's connected to the last message, so I made the video by showing other videos in between but keeping the voices of these two sentences alive
I did this at the end
“To everyone using their powers to empower others”
I was able to make you cry.
Actually, creating new videos by mixing people's videos, speeches, and broadcasts doesn't require new filming, so it looks easy on the outside, but it's really hard to find a video that fits the message you want.

And when you can't find it or find it roughly, you have to write videos that don't match the story, but this 2019 video rarely had such videos compared to other Year in Search videos. I think that played a big role.

Second, the music.
Music is a kind of music that is related to achievement, but violin melody, which is an unchanging truth, is the main thing.
And what was especially good about this episode was that there was definitely a part where the excitement and emotions of the people built up in sync with the music and visuals were flushed and burst like flowers (1:28 seconds)

It's very important even if it doesn't seem like a big deal. If you heighten your emotions, you have to burst them out in some parts. This is one of the best parts of this video.
Finally, Year in search. All the other episodes are good, too. But again, our purpose is to find and share something hidden in the video that impresses us even more. That's why we're dealing with the 2019 edition.
